I'm a long time lurker and really appreciate the free help I've gotten from reading posts here.
My wife and I came into possession of a 2008 Itsaca Latitude 8.1 gas pusher. My mother and late stepfather owned it, and after he passed, I wound up with it getting parked in my yard while their affairs were sorted out.
That was about 4 or 5 years ago.
About 3 months ago, we decided to start living in it while we traveled around the country for my job. I have a good solid career, which involves 250-300 days of out of town travel a year. I have in the past driven and flown for travel, and stayed in Hotels. 25 years and counting.
Due to Covid, I kinda lost interest in airplanes, airports, hotels, etc. So enter full-timing.
I'm blessed with far above average mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. I knew what I was getting into with this particular coach. It has low miles, but it was lived in for several years in the desert outside Tucson before it was my yard ornament in Albuquerque.
I'm a mechanic, welder, machinist, electrician, and plumber from past occupations. Post college, I'm a chemist, computer programmer, and industrial instrumentation and controls specialist.
We have lived in this rig full time since May of this year. We think it's a big improvement over the jet-set lifestyle we used to live. I get to go home every day after work.
Since moving into this thing, We've done:
Installed stacked washer/dryer and performed the cabinet work to make it fit
A ton of mechanical work and deferred/neglected maintenance
Harmonic balancer shelled out and that was fun. (Texas, 105 degrees).
Residential fridge retrofit (Haier 4-door, very nice improvement) and the cabinetry
PSW inverter and subpanel.
<and the list is getting longer by the week>
We've traveled across NM, TX, CO, OK, and WY. Averaging about 2000 miles a month.
I'm currently sorting out a couple of issues that aren't hard to solve, but I need some specific advice that I haven't been able to locate in the search or the larger internet. I'll post my questions over in the workhorse forums.

Welcome aboard!
Have you cleaned the MAF and replaced the air filter yet?
How old are the tires?
Have you replaced all the belts and hoses yet?
Have you replaced the plugs and wires?

I did all of the fluids and filters before we hit the road. The tires are about 3 years old and they were covered up so they are in good shape
I replaced the harmonic balancer, alternator, tensioner, pulleys, water pump and the hoses when I started getting serpentine belt shredding. Hopefully that is dealt with now.
I’m replacing plugs and wires this week and I’ll clean the MAF while I’m in there
Current issue is a leaking inner rear hub seal. I just noticed it and I want to get it fixed before the drive back

Sounds like you’ve been busy.
Any suggestions for repairing or replacing the 3” tile strip that goes around the counter and stove. The little
Tiles keep falling off in our fifth wheel.
Have a fun summer camping.
