Hi everyone! I thought I’d officially join this great forum after lurking for a while.
My wife and I are interested in buying an RV at some point in the next few years and go full time in it for a while to see the country. We’re not sure when we will be able to go but we’re definitely chasing the dream right now.
It all started early this year. There was an RV show in Raleigh towards the end of February at the State Fairgrounds. Originally my FIL was supposed to come up and go with us to the show.
My FIL ended up not making it but my wife and I decided to go anyway. We had a blast and immediately thought about getting an RV ourselves and going full time.
For months now we’ve watched tons of You Tube videos and researched types and brands of RVs. Right now we like the Class A diesels in the mid 30 footer range the best.
We just got back from the big RV show in Hershey, PA and loved it. I loved getting the chance to see so many brands in one place.
We’re looking at taking a few years at least to work and save up money to make this dream happen. We’re also motivated to declutter and get rid of things now before buying the RV.
I’m looking forward to reading these forums and gaining the knowledge and experience of those here who have already done what we want to do. Feel free to direct me to any resources that might be helpful for those like me still in the planning stage. Thanks for reading!
