Hi all, I am new to this forum, have participated in other forums for quite some time. My wife and I bought a new 2004 Alpine Avalanche (our 5th RV) last fall, and found the Alpine Forum on this site.

I am a full time Quality Assurance and Systems Safety Manager in the Aerospace industry, and my wife is a full time stay at home wife! We have been RVing for all 21 years (almost) of our married lives, starting with a pop-up, then two different TTs and now on our second Mororhome. We do not have any children, thus we can spend time and college funds on toys and fun. We are members of several RV clubs localy, and get out as often as my busy schedule permits.

Most of our travels have been within a couple hundred miles of home, but we do take at least one long 2 to 3 week trip each year. Looking forward to retirement when we can do this more often! But, they do not let 46 year olds retire with any kind of decent pension!

I appreciate the warm welcome!! Our adventures will begin again as soon as we get out Coach back from some warranty work at the manufacturer in Yakima Washington. We are looking forward to the trip home since we should have everything (fingers crossed) resolved finally.

Reading some of the threads on this site, it appears that there is a wealth of experience and some great folks on here, and we are looking forward to hearing from many of you.
