We have just purchased a 2021 Cross Trek 21XG with 5,000 mi.
In July we sold our 1993 Toyota Warrior. We got it in 2018. It was in mint condition as it was stored inside it's entire life. We replaced all plumbing and added a full 3000W lithium solar system. Reupholstered everything, wallpapered and painted walls and cabinets.
I'm now looking through everything on the new rig. Not too impressed with the workmanship. The inverted is right below the sink and the main power shunt is just resting on top of it!

If that's a battery monitor shunt, the shunt should be between the negative battery terminal and ALL negative cables.

It looks like the white cable is even on the wrong side of the shunt.

The way it is, it will only monitor what the inverter /charger does, leaving out all other 12 volt use.

The white wire is from the solar charge controller heading back to the battery

That means solar input is not going thru the shunt and not measured.

If there are any other cables on the battery negative, they are not being measured either.

For a battery monitor to work, every negative cable must run thru it, on its way to the battery.

That's the only way it can calculate amp hours ( AHs ) in and out accurately.

Correct. I feel like I should go through the whole rig. Where might I get a wiring diagram ? Based on what I've seen so far, I doubt Coachman even has one.
