Cool...really! With the pine trees and snow hiding in the bushes, winter boondocking could get ... interesting.

Welcome and all the best to you guys. Keep us posted with your adventures, please.

Yes! We have 400w of Renogy panels located on the canopy of the truck and 400w of solar on the trailer. They are tied into separate solar 40A MPPT charge controllers. We use quick connect plugs on both the truck and trailer and a 30ft cord to connect the two. This makes a huge difference in warmer weather since we can keep the trailer parked in the shade while the truck is in the sun.

We have a propane Dometic stove for cooking inside, the trailer has a 11 gallon fresh water tank on board that we use for hand washing, dishes, and filling our Berkey. SeOur shower/washing machine is on a 4 gallon loop setup with five different stages of filtration, 100 micron, 20 micron, 5 micron, 1 micron and uv sterilization, this water gets flushed once per week. We use a Thetford Porta Potti Mounted on drawer slides under the sink that we have to dump once weekly as well. As far as heat is concerned, we have a diesel rv heater that we recently installed. Our We're in the northwest right now but just got up here after spending a year in the San Antonio, TX area.

If anyone would like more information on our build we've got a Youtube Channel. I'm not allowed to share a link but if you search The Andersen Adventures, you'll see more of the build, we've spent a year building this setup and are happy to answer any questions on the mods/lifestyle in question.
