New member finally Fulltiming

Hi,

I've been vacation RVing most of my life. Visited all 48 lower states with my wife in our Class B VW Vanagon Camper. Then, we bought a Class B Roadtrek and visited those 48 states again. Been to Alaska twice but never by RV. Also, been to Hawaii twice but it's way too wet to drive to.

Now that I'm retired, I finally have a chance to go Full-timing. No home base anywhere to which I can or could return. Unfortunately, my wife died in 2007; so, I'll be traveling solo.

Knowing that a Class B is just too small for Full-timing, I purchased a new-to-me 2010 Dutchmen Grand Junction 340RL plus a 2014 Dodge 3500 4x4 Diesel to pull it.

Established my "home" as South Dakota, selling my condo, and giving away most of my "stuff".

Plan to hit the road in May and lazily tour North America for at least the next two years. Driving to Alaska is finally in my sights!

My longest trip while working was 8 weeks, which was long for a vacation. Now that I'm retired this trip could be 8 years or more. Looking forward with excitement!
