We have just purchased our 10th camping unit. We have had a tent, popup, 2 TT's, a Class A, Class C, and 4 FW's. After having 3 Sunnybrooks, we purchased a 2013 358RLT Keystone Mountaineer with large frig and KS bed. Didn't think we wanted those things but am glad we got them. So far we really love it. Have been arranging and rearranging and will have to look hard to remember where everything is. LOL. We will be traveling to the Gulf Shores, Al area in a few weeks and are really looking forward to enjoying our newest home away from home. Safe travels to all. Roll Tide!

Welcome to the forum. Bet you will have a lot of good input due to the variety of units over the years. Have a great time at GS, we love it there.

MSHappy campers - hi to you neighbor. We go to Pickensville COE Park quite a bit and also to DeWayne Hayes COE. Pickensville is one of our favorites. Maybe we can meet up at one of these sometime. I really enjoy the forums and enjoy all the comments.

Hi Carole! Yeah, that would be great! We're always looking for new friends to camp with. Right now we're grounded! I had a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder and had surgery on it about 5 weeks ago. I haven't been able to drive or do much at all since then, going to rehab three times a week. Those folks are KILLING me! We had made reservations in Maggie Valley, NC, for the entire month of October but had to cancel it. I hope to be able to do some local camping within the next month, but just having to lay low for now. We love Dewayne Hayes! It was the first place we camped when we started RV'ing in 2001, and it spoiled us! Everything else has been second best since then! Let us know when you will be over this way again and maybe we can at least meet for a cup of coffee.

Actually, we are starting out at Meaher State park in Spanish Fort to visit with our son for a week. Then may go to Gulf State Park or Fort Pickens. Not really sure after that. Thanks for the welcome. Roll Tide. LOL.

Your 10th unit? Good grief! Why did you switch so much? Sorry to seem nosy but that's a lot of rigs.

BTW, welcome to the Forum.

Well, we started camping in 1972 , so when you think of it that way, not So many. I camped in tent once, once in popup that had a window AC when it was 104 outside. The new popups are so much better. I found out really fast that I don't like motels/hotels, but that I do like the comforts of home. As our family grew we got bigger units, and now it's just the two of us and we stay it it for 2-3 months at a time so we still like bigger. So I don't guess 10 in 40 years is too bad. I don't really count the tent or popup. LOL.
