New Member from Freehold NJ - Thor 24.1 & Subaru WRX toad
Hi,
I'm John from Freehold, NJ. I'm new to this forum but been RVing for about 5 years now.
I use my Thor 24.1 motorhome for vacation and to support my sports car endurance racing hobby.
(Pre-pandemic) my race team (4 old guys) climbs into RV and tows our 1991 BMW to road-myracing tracks all over the country. There we run competitive races up to 24 hours long while camping in the paddocks.
On vacation (with my wife) I flat-tow my 2004 Subaru WRX Wagon (toad). We've been around the northeast and out west twice.
My Subaru has done everything from being a daily driver, autocross racing in parking lots, non-competitive track days on road-racing tracks, and now has been "toad" for near 10K miles of our vacation travels.
That car has been great! So great I just bought a new Subaru WRX.
Thus sometime in the near future I plan to post my current Subaru for sale (as a relatively inexpensive toad) in the toad classified forum her. If it doesn't find a new owner here, I'll probably pull the base-plate and braking system out and just sell it normally.
This is just a heads up in-case someone might be looking for a "unique, fun" toad in the near future. If so, stay tuned to the classified.
