The wife and I are still looking at MHs. I plan to retire civil job this June. Wife is reluctant to travel or afraid we will have problems getting medical treatment or subscriptions filled while on the road should we ever need it.
We are both in perfect health with no medical problems at this time.
I am retired USAF 1962-1982 20 years... Also receive full social security.
How do you guys handle your medical needs while on the road?
Also I am looking for a good 35' Diesel Pusher with Allison 6 speed. If anyone has one for about $40,000.00 I am interested and all ears.

Welcome and glad to meet you!
I am covered under the wife's insurance. When she retires this fall, she can elect to carry the same insurance or switch to a different offered policy. We just have to look which is best for acceptance nationwide. Her accumulated sick days can be used for partial payment, then the rest is on us. Of course once we qualify there is always SS.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! We're glad you joined us!
Hope you can find the MH to fit your needs. I would suggest you post questions over in the appropriate areas of the forum for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Hello and welcome! DH (male spouse in IRV2 speak) is retired USAF, we started full time RVing in Dec '12 and have not had any major problems with care or prescription refills. We use Wal-Mart for our prescriptions because they are almost everywhere. There is an IRV2 forum for military, there are a lot of good people with lots of experience there. Good luck finding your MH.

"Mahalo" that's Hawaii speaks for "Thanks" for all the good info.
I am looking at this 1997 Monaco Executive, Sacramento CA - 108341605 - RVTrader.com The price seems right.... Maybe too right.
Looks nice... I may fly over and buy her if no mech/elect/plumbing problems exist.

Welcome to the site and group. Good luck or your retirement. Just be cautious on the rip off's that are out there. Some of these good deals just don't exist. Good luck on your hunt.

We thank everyone for the invite to Rv'ing and look foward to seeing you out on the road.
Hopefully someone can go out and look at this MH to determine if it's roadworthy.
I may have to fly up there and check it out myself.... Probably get expensive after a few roundtrips between Hawaii and the West Coast.
Wait... I think I'm on the far West Coast and farther south than any of you folks out there. I could be wrong
