New Member from Molokai Hawaii

Aloha All,
My name is Mike and Yvette is by beautiful wife of 30 years. I retired from the military after 25 years in 2016. Since I grew up in the military and then joined the military, I don't really have a place to call home, so we did not have a place we really wanted to go to after I retired. We love traveling and used to have a travel trailer when we were on the mainland that we used all the time and even did a cross country trip in. We were originally going to Full Time RV when I retired and then about a year before I got out we visited Molokai Hawaii to do the former Leper Colony Tour and fell in love with the island and decided to put our RV life on hold for a while. We moved here right after retirement and opened the first permitted B&B on the island and the rest is history. It was way more successful than we ever imagined, but it has really restricted our ability to travel as we have to coordinate cleaners, hosts and a bunch of other things every time we want to go somewhere. Our parents are also getting older and we really need to be able to be there with them more. Yvette's mom was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's (she is 78) and her Dad who is 83 is taking care of her and needs a break now and then. We are seriously considering selling our house and hitting the road. We are planning on buying a good used Class A Diesel (cash) as we want to tow a smaller vehicle. We are very healthy and our medical is covered by TRICARE and the VA. We plan on volunteering most of the time for about a month at a time, so we can visit family and friends often and be with our parents as needed in between. I am really starting to gather more information, so I will probably be posting a lot of questions and reading most of the posts.
Mahalo in advance for all the help.
