Greetings,
We have just upgraded from a 1999 Winnebago Adventurer Diesel Pusher to a 07 Monaco Diplomat. We have been viewing the forum for a couple years but have not joined until now. I also sent a post to MonacoMama asking about joining the Monaco Group.
Our Winnebago was a starter coach for us and we did a lot to it in the 4 years we owned it, including repainting the outside and various modifications to electrical and cabinetry. It was a good experience and taught us a lot about what we wanted in our next coach. This Monaco came the closest to our preferences in our price range. We have had it now for a little over 3 weeks and already started making changes including a Winegard Traveler HD dish, 600 watts of solar power, new batteries and inverter/charger function upgrades, LED lights throughout interior, and a few other minor fixes, etc. TV upgrades soon as well as new drawers under the cook top. Getting ready to service the engine and generator as well as the air system and chassis lube points. I do almost everything myself and look forward to meeting others who are not timid about getting into a project up to your elbows.
Regards,
Rmcb
