New Member from Nevada

Just joined today. Wife and I are in Gold Country USA in northern Nevada. Purchased a new Ford F250 and Mesa Ridge 312RLS 36 ft 5th wheel for Christmas. Retiring finally in a few months and going to hit the road, as my folks did 22 years ago. Really looking forward to meeting new people along the way.

Current question for Mesa Ridge owners... there is a cover over the slideout mechanism for the dinette and theater seats that hits the kitchen island and puckers up a bit. Trip hazard when slide out is extended. Dealer says it is the way it is designed and no help (yet) from Mesa Ridge. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Cover is about an inch too long.

Thanks all.

Thanks all.

Do you mean the carpet? Pictures would help. What year is your unit?

On ours, the carpet on one side rides over the opposite side when closed, and when open it is a trip hazard for a few hours.

Also. look here:https://www.openrangeowners.com/ORfo...forum.php?f=65

It is not carpetting but a piece of laminate that extends the width of the slideout and the depth plus it extends about a foot out from the dinette and theater seats. Supposed to have an answer back from Mesa Ridge next week so am hopeful we will have a fix.

Thanks for the reply!
