Wow what a fantastic welcome....
Thanks everyone for the great welcome.
NZ is such a small place I am sure I will meet up with everyone at some point in time.
Yes the left/right thingy is interesting, in 2005 when I was in Florida, I spent most of my time terrified every time we turned at an intersection hoping I would get the right lane! But got t here eventually.
I look forward to getting to know you all over the next few years....

Welcome to another Kiwi! Just started full-timing in December 2013, currently near Christchurch. Loving the relaxed lifestyle. And you are right, thus is a GREAT forum.

Welcome to the forum,
I am retired now, but spent a lot of time at the Tiwai Point Aluminum Smelter out of Invercargill, NZ. My company manufactured various aluminum casting accessories and as a engineer/sales rep traveled there frequently.
I am also a fly fishing addict and met many native Kiwi's that introduced me to the splendid outdoors available in the S Island.
Many fond memories of New Zealand, Australia/Tasmania. I hope you enjoy your stay here, but it's big and be sure to plan carefully to enjoy it the best you can.
