We recently joined and have been avidly reading. So much great dialog and info! We just traded in our 2010 Holiday Rambler Endeavor for a 2014 Newmar Dutch Star which should be here end of January. We're looking forward to getting out on the road...

Welcome to the forums. So how does it feels to be a two motorhome family for the next two years? ;p. Enjoy the comfortable drive next year. Hope the hr finds a happy owner. Contraryvto what you here ci heard Quebec dwarfs texas . I do have a hankering for a 72 ounce steak, although i'm sure I'd loose the challenge.

Thanks all! I grew up in a camping family. We first camped in a trailer my dad built at home completely from scratch - an all metal "slide up". Then he up-graded us to a Holiday Rambler trailer-- yes it really was an up-grade! We had 6 kids and my parents and we all 8 piled in there and I never remember it being kind of a problem. We camped around Texas, on the coast and in the hill country; with our extended family a lot. I have lots of aunts and uncles and cousins, and they all camped with us. Now, I have my own camper and my kids have learned to love the RV lifestyle. We camp with my sisters and brothers and friends and yes, with my parents sometimes. Now my kids are looking forward to having their own campers. Sharing the dream...
