New Member from Texas

Hey, I'm a proud Arctic Fox owner from South Texas. We've been RVing for 8 years or so. We got into trailer camping when we lived in Jackson, Wyoming. Then in 2005 we moved to South Texas and have learned to appreciate FALL and Winter camping to stay out of the heat. When in Jackson, we only had a short Summer/Fall camping schedule, but the places to see were fantastic. We used to weekend camp in Yellowstone. Sweet!

We currently have a 2003 Arctic Fox 22H, which we'll be selling in Oct/Nov because we've ordered a new 2010 Arctic Fox 25S from the factory. It's supposed to be ready in November sometime.

I'll be driving up to LaGrande, Oregon (1,900 miles!) to pick up the trailer at the factory.

After owning an Arctic Fox we wouldn't own anything else -- and nobody within a 1,500 miles had the model we wanted. So, there's little choice but to drive to Oregon.

Thanks all. I appreciate the welcome.

I'm in Spring Branch, just north of San Antonio.

We're heading out tomorrow for a weekend at our favorite nearby place -- South Llano River State Park in Junction. We go 4 or 5 times a year. This is our first trip of this Fall and the last time we were there was in early May. Right before we hung up the camping clothes for the long hot (and boy was it a hot one) Summer.

No, we don't intend to Full-Time. The longest we've gone out is 2 weeks and we talk about going for 3-weeks to a month, but my wife can't get away from work that much.

I'm self-employed and can work from the Trailer without problem.
