Hello from me to all you RVers out there. We are full timers and looking to make some new friends on the road as we go. Heading for Vancouver Island soon to live for the winter. Anyone around that area give us a heads up and maybe we can meet for coffee..

Sorry we don't hang around, we're Rainbirds, lots of info on the Island campgrounds , in RVTimes, magazine, free, printed version, lots of places ( Save-on-Foods and RV sales ,& parts stores ) and on line.
www.rvtimes.ca
BTW. DW says, to say ,the further up island you go the more likely you are to get snow, sometime over the winter, usually doesn't last near the waterfront; but the higher up areas can have snow on the ground for days at a time, and the island ski areas will have 400" some years.

Forgot to mention.
B.C. Ferries, You can save up to $100. By driving a toad on separately , vs , paying for the extra length , if you leave it attached to your MH.

Just a heads up, if you are pulling a toad, be prepared to disconnect from the motorhome and save money on B.C. Ferries. Last time we crossed the strait, we saved $85 by having my wife drive the toad on to the ferry versus towing it. That is not chump change!

Howdy from NYC and SC and welcome to the forums. Sorry we haven't made it out that far northwest yet, but if and when we do, we'll bring the coffee.....
