Hi all,
We`ve been tent campers for well, almost forever, still do with the Boy Scouts. Bought our first TT 3 years ago for family camping, found it was too small and bought this one 2 years ago, a Jayco 28 BHS. We go whenever we can, in fact just went out for Thanksgiving. We have four boys ages 25, 11, 9, and 9. Not new to forums, am a moderator over at the Jayco Owners forum and just recently found this one. I look forward to joining the community and discussions here.

Hey and welcome from one scout father to another. I have 2 Eagle scouts 28 & 25, and my daughter 18 is a Venture Scout. There's nothing like scout camping.

Hi Lee! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you found us! We look forward to your input. I spent many years in Scouting and learned many things that have helped me through life. That ground sure did get hard when those cheap air mattresses went down during the night! Happy trails & God bless!

Thanks,
I was a Scout and since my sons have been involved I have held the Positions of Scoutmaster, Asst Scoutmaster (2001 to present) Webelos leader three times (also presently hold this position with the Cubs). The ground is still hard, even with the state of the art stuff of today, especially as these bones get older! While I still enjoy the Scout camping it is also nice to have the comforts of the trailer when family camping!
