My wife recently inherited a very low mileage (25k miles) Class C 1994 Fleetwood Montara, and we went to look it this weekend. While we've previously owned a Class C some 25 years ago, we've used tent or pop-up trailers for our camping experiences either with 2 or 4 wheel vehicles for most of our RVing and presently have a 8' Starcraft pop-up that we really like.
Mechanically the unit is in terrific shape, but we will need to do some deep cleaning inside & out and repair of a few items (I'm very handy in that department) which will have to wait until spring because of the weather conditions where it is located. I forgot to take some pictures of the unit, so those will have to wait for a bit.
I've cruised around this site and there's definitely a very nice knowledge base to be found here.

Welcome form Anacortes. Just fixing up one you've inherited is an excellent price for joining the lifestyle. Fortunately, by 94 all the chassis being used for motorhomes had switched from carburetors (a French verb that means "leave well enough alone") to various types of electronic fuel injection.
Our first rig was an '85 26' Class C with the Ford 460 with a carb. We were lucky to get 6 mpg at sea-level and about 4.5 in the mountains. Our current V-10 32' Class A gets about 8 mpg everywhere.
