Hello Brad,

Like you, we joined the irv2 group just last week, too late to welcome you to the Fredericksburg area where we live. The ladybird park is a nice place to stay and I am sure you found lots to do here in Fredericksburg. This Memorial weekend has brought in hundreds if not thousands of visitors. My wife and I seldom venture out during the 3-day weekends as our city is a very popular destination and the downtown area is wall-to-wall with people.

We have not as yet picked up our first and new [to us] motorhome. We just bought a 2005 Coachmen Freedom 258DB last week and will be picking it up this Thursday for our initial outing in east Texas. We had hail damage to our home and our RV, a 2006 Hi Lo. We decided it is time for a change so I did some searching and found a like new MH that was priced right and we drove the 300 miles to view it first hand. We really liked what we saw and bought it. Now we have to take our Hi Lo and 2000 F250 back there to the dealer who is going to do the repairs and place both on their lot to sell. I sure hate to sell my 7.3L 4x4 but my wife has some medical conditions and the ride is too rough for her. The MH will offer a smoother ride and flexibility for her.

Next time you are in our area drop a PM to us and maybe we can get together.

Thanks, Jerry. We'll be back down in October. I'll give you a holler.

Hi, neighbor. We live all the way over east of you in Big Spring. How did the shake down of the new rig go?

Shake down went great! Moving from a pop up to a travel trailer required us to pick up a few odds and ends but with a Walmart close, they had everything we needed. Next trip is in a month to southern Colorado. Counting the days!
