Howdy all. Just joined the site. We live in Midland and I've been a camper all my life. My wife joined in when we got married 39 years ago. Our three daughters grew up camping and now our grandkids have joined the mix.

We just traded our pop up for for a Coachmen Freedom Express 233RBS. We pick it up tomorrow then will head out to the Texas hill country for a few days for a shake out trip. Looking forward to the new travel trailer and many more years of camping.

from a couple of ex-Odessans. Glad you found us. Be sure to check out the Texas Boomers forum under the South Central regional forums down toward the bottom of the main forum page. Perhaps we'll see you at one of our rallies (speaking of the Hill Country, we'll be at Alamo Fiesta in Boerne for a rally over Memorial Day. Stop by and see us if you're still going to be in the neighborhood).

Thanks for all the kind words! We'll be at Lady Bird Park in Fredericksburg tomorrow through Sunday. We go there usually for a week in the spring and a week in the fall. Thought it might be a good place for a shake out trip since it's close to civilization.
