New member greetings to all from Minnesota
Hello,
Have had a 1992 Pace Arrow since 2004 and enjoy working on it. Even though I have learned a lot DIY but come up with new questions or ways of doing things from time to time.
I am second owner and now have 130K with Chev P30 and 454 engine. Previous owner did a lot of upgrades and kept all records. I bought on Ebay and flew to Mesa and drove it home. Averaged 11 mpg, so that was a real plus also.
Found out previous owner had installed Jardine headers and 3" muffler which really did the job. Also had regular gas at that time and think it got better fuel economy compared to unleaded, as now 9-9.5 mpg but more weight and not the long distances to average.
Just noted lately on an underside inspection, that the muffler is developing a soft spot on top. Will muffler tape etc. do the job??
Happy camping,
Windmill Bob

Welcome from another Minnesotan. Time to head south as soon as you are able.
