New member - Kansas

Hi

New member here. Bought a used 2006 Diplomat a couple months back. Site has been very helpful so far regarding winterize and research on the Norcold (wanted to make sure it was recalled correctly but lucky for me it seems the cooling unit was replaced with the Amish unit).

Hope to learn more and provide info as learned.

Regards

Thanks "old guy", I see from your signature that you have a CR-V toad. I'm currently looking at getting a toad and one of the things that I am not sure of is the restrictions on some. The CR-V for example has a speed limit of 65, have you found that to be a problem?

I figure on doing 70 at most where allowed and don't want to rule out a toad for a 5 mph difference.

Thank you in advance

Welcome aboard. You ain't in Kansas anymore ToTo

Always wanted to say that.

Make sure you watch the year of the CR-V. After a certain year they changed the transmissions so they became non towable. Prior to that, they were one of the most favorite tow vehicles. Makes you wonder why they changed them.

Just for information, that is wisdom I gathered here in these forums. I have not been doing this long enough to have that kind of experienced know;edge.
