Smile New Member Lakeland Fl Check IN

Our names Stephen and Kathy Davis
we are currently living in Lakeland Florida
Our plans as absolute newbies for a Class A RV are first rent one for a couple
small trips then decide on buying or not.
we have no experience and seek your help sadkgd@gmail.com
we want to rent one to drive to Mobile Al and back this month
We have been looking at dealers since last Saturday and have seen dozens of you tune videos.
We are retired and are talking about a one year road trip as our goal.
Sell out- leave -vacation for one year around the USA.
So advise us on renting , what unit to buy. all ears! thanks

When I bought my Class A, I also thought about renting first - to test the lifestyle.

But the rental motorhomes (at least the ones I found for rent) where very low-end low-quality motorhomes. You don't get the full experience of "Glamping" in a rental. They just don't have the same level of comfort and convenience that the higher-end Coaches provide.

There is a big difference in traveling/camping in a budget RV compared to a high-end luxury RV.

However, if you rent a low-end RV and like it, you will "love" being in a high-end Coach.

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add information if you can.

Visit as many dealers as you can to check out various rigs, quality, floorplan etc. Renting a few weekends of even a week trip is a very good idea.

I would also remove your email address as this is a public board. Rather let those wanting to contact you use the PM function (Just my 2 cents worth.)

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!
