I agree, I just don't want to buy something that is totally wrong. I don't expect it to even break even but I want to at least not lose my butt. We plan on putting 20% down just like a house so we can be in a position to get out of it if we need to.

I want a fancy Pusher because they feel like home but I can't find/afford a bunkhouse plan with enough privacy. May have to settle first time around in order to not give up on the dream completely.
Re: class A or 5ver......Someone here on Irv2 put it very well when they said:

In a 5th wheel, your vacation begins when you get to your destination......
In a class A your vacation begins the moment when you leave your driveway.

Yeah, good point. We thought class a because we'd like to move it around a lot too in town.

Will you be pulling a toad? Maybe get a camper for a pick up for the teenager? Or no toad, pull a TT with the MH. If you increase your budget a few fold Newmar has a beautiful bunk model that they'll customize. I want one. Can't justify it though Thank your husband for us. I believe there is at least one IRV mom with two kids and a dog on here with a 5er. I wish I could remember her handle though. There's something about a Class A. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more bunk house models in the future the demand seems to be growing.

Welcome to IRV2.

thanks, I know that there is at least 1, that will convert the master closet to a bunk, but she needs some space.
