Hello all. We were in-the-dirt campers for decades but that got a bit tiring as we aged. We graduated to 25-foot class-C's and are now on our third, each from vastly different generations. We bought a 1976 Mobile Traveler in 1990 for US$6k, a 1996 Jamboree Searcher in 1998 for US$30k... and now a brand-new 2016 Chateau Citation Sprinter for (gasp!) US$95k with taxes and fees. Stepping up!

That Jamboree roamed from Alaska to Texas. We drove an SUV to Central America a few times -- didn't think the RV would suit for that run. We've been without an RV for a few years now. We're glad to hit the road again.

Not full-timing, no way; we have a home full of nice stuff. But we might be away half or more of each year. We're used to off-the-grid layovers. The tricky part for us: getting the right Internet connectivity. I'll ask specific questions in the appropriate forum here.

Anyway, Mr & Ms RioRico are now here at iRV2. Should be fun!
