New Member New to Motorhomes.
I just purchased a 1998 Newmar Dutchstar.It has seventy thousand miles on it and is in decent condition.I didn't think it was too bad for the year it was built.It looks like so far everything is in working condition. 
I do have one question but will post in the Newmar section.
Glad to be a member and have already learned alot before making my purchase.

Welcome aboard,
We had a 1999 DS and loved it. They are a good unit. We had no problems in the 11 years we owned it. We upgraded in 2013 to get a little more room.
