New member, new to RV'ing

Hi, my name is Brad Watson. We live in Calgary, Alberta.

We have always talked about traveling with an RV (and our motorcycle), stay in an area for as long as we like and explore by motorcycle, moving on when were ready. It's just 1.5 years from our planned retirement so we bought a used DP and plan to learn the ropes over the next couple of years.

We have camped over the years but we are new to RV's. Hope to pick up some tips and hints here.

Thanks all, no great pictures yet, as it is still in the storage yard. I still have my Class 1 license from the days when I drove tractor trailers units, but I never got my air brake (Q) endorsement. I'm working on that now.

Look forward to getting to know folks here.

Brad Watson,
I am new to this thing as well, only have about 14 months to retirement, and am getting serious about getting me a Class A diesel. I have a rebuilt susuki samarui and small fish boat, so plan on doing the closed in cargo trailer for the toys. I live over in the Elk Valley, so if your interested, maybe we can get together for a chat on some of this stuff.
