New member - old full timer
Recently started reading the forums here and decided to join and perhaps contribute occasionally.
We full timed for thirteen years in three different fifth wheel/truck combinations. Currently have a 2006 Heartland Landmark/2003 International toter but are in the process of trading (up/down???) for a 2002 Winnebago Freedom Ultimate - should take delivery within a week. Looking forward to continuing our travels.
We never sold our home here in Central Oregon and decided to become 'part timers' two years ago. This was the first winter we have remained in snow country in 14 years. Sure great to spend a Christmas with the grand kids but I sure miss the fishing in Louisiana!
We plan to tow a 2012 F150 behind the motorhome and will eventually have a method of loading my 12 boat on the back of the F150.
Past life included twenty years of Navy service (electronics tech) and 18 years of electrical engineering as a civilian. I do most of my own RV repair work and enjoy helping others.
Hope this satisfies the introduction requirement.
