Hi,
My name is Randy and I just found your forum and it could not be more timely.
My wife and I decide to take a break from the rat race of working in health-care. In September we are planning a coast to coast adventure and trying our hand at full-timing. We have a 2001 journey that we have had for three years and only logged about 4,000 miles. We have used it but mostly local trips so we have a lot to learn. We will be towing a car for the first time. We will spend about 2 months getting things in order for our trip and we would welcome any tips or advise.
Our present plan is to travel down the East coast visting and site seeing ending in the Keys on the first leg.
Next will be traveling up the gulf side of Florida ending in Beaumont Texas.
Third leg is a path that will take us to central California and up the west coast to our previous home north of Seattle.
Thanks to you all for this most helpful forum.
Regards, Randy

Hi Randy,

Welcome to iRV2. You will find many resources here, and you just might make a friend or two as well.

Here's hoping your trip turns out to be as exciting and rewarding as you hope for.

If interested, why not pop in to the iRV2 Chatters chat room. We are there just about every evening starting around 8:30pm eastern. It is a fun group and many of us have met several times in various places around the country.

Skip, Thanks for the info and I will check it out. I did not even know there was a chat room as I have only scratched the surface of IRV2.
