Hello all!!!!

kinda new to the world but have a little experience with RV's. Its been a while and now I am looking to get back into it. it just makes sense to travel the the amount of children i have with an RV. I am currently looking at a 1998 Fleetwood Discovery. Anyone have any concerns or things i need to specifically look for?

First, Welcome to IRV2!

If you haven't already found it, there's a forum dedicated to Fleetwood motor homes where you can find more information.

Sorry but I'm not familiar with that rig!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I have the same rig. 22K original miles. Needs some work. Already replaced all the double pane glass and new tires. Rides smooth.

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up and add information if you can.

I not have any experience with that rig but in any event I would have an inspection done ( you pay for it) before exchanging any$$$$
Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Hello,
Still learning to navigate this site. Is this where u introduce yourself? I'm a retired teacher/social worker, displaced Californian living in Millcreek, Utah. I almost bought a 1988 Holiday Rambler today, but it had sold. I was serious. Could someone tell me what are comparable brands to the HR? Are the older ones built with more quality? Has Holiday Rambler kept up its quality/reputation? I'm thinking that if our shakey economy tanks, I would like to have a back-up "home" to my condo. I love being on the road again. Have RV'd some, not enough. I have long-boated in England and it's a good life, nice peeps like in the RV crowd. I'd appreciate any advice. I've gotten some wonderful advice already and thank whomever gave it, re what to look out for w used purchase. Looking forward to getting my own rig and hitting the road.
