Just purchased a 28' '89 Allegro (Tiffin). 33,430 miles. Best I can tell it sat for awhile... Seems to be in decent shape but of course a lot of deferred maintenance. Have it in the shop as we speak - front brakes, airbags, batteries, and general inspection. Intent on leaving the 21st for Christmas trip to East Texas with Two daughters, two son in laws, 3 dogs, wife and myself.
Hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew.
Glad to be a member and I welcome "most" advice and suggestions.

Hi Steve, welcome to IRV2. Great that you are keeping a Classic RV on the road! Looks like you'll have a full house on this trip to Texas. Just take your time and not push the RV too hard.
I'd pay particular attention to the condition of the "tires" (age, condition, air pressure, etc.) for safety reasons and reliable travel. Roadside Assistance like Good Sam or Coach-Net is a good insurance policy and a spare tire/wheel can save a lot of $$, if you do have a flat.
Safe travels and take a lot of pictures.

Well Steve, you are a brave man. When people ask me how many people my MH holds I reply:
"Drinks for 6, dinner for four, sleeps two!"
