Hi, I've got a 2005 Chevy Astro conversion van. I love its small size for times and places when a large RV won't fit, and the slightly better fuel economy. But its size is also a limitation. I'd love more space, headroom and a bathroom. Starting this winter I'm going to begin being a full time RVer. Looking forward to finally being a snowbird! No more cold, snowy winters for me! Just sunny, warm climates!
Looking forward to moving up to a larger RV by next year. I'm thinking a nice luxury coach like a Newell, Prevost or Wanderlodge would be nice. I used to drive a school bus, so I'm not intimidated by the size anymore. But I need a bit more saving to even get a decent used one.
And then I might tow my Astro conversion van behind it, but the Astro is not an ideal toad with rear wheel drive and automatic transmission so I'd need a car trailer for it. I might have to get a compact car or pickup with a manual trasmission to be my toad instead.
This is a great forum. So much good info here. I'm getting excited!
