New member, starting with a conversion van and moving up

Hi, I've got a 2005 Chevy Astro conversion van. I love its small size for times and places when a large RV won't fit, and the slightly better fuel economy. But its size is also a limitation. I'd love more space, headroom and a bathroom. Starting this winter I'm going to begin being a full time RVer. Looking forward to finally being a snowbird! No more cold, snowy winters for me! Just sunny, warm climates!

Looking forward to moving up to a larger RV by next year. I'm thinking a nice luxury coach like a Newell, Prevost or Wanderlodge would be nice. I used to drive a school bus, so I'm not intimidated by the size anymore. But I need a bit more saving to even get a decent used one. And then I might tow my Astro conversion van behind it, but the Astro is not an ideal toad with rear wheel drive and automatic transmission so I'd need a car trailer for it. I might have to get a compact car or pickup with a manual trasmission to be my toad instead.

This is a great forum. So much good info here. I'm getting excited!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I'm kind of new to RVing and camping, but so far loving it with my 2005 Astro conversion van. Looking forward to moving up to a luxury motorhome in the near future and being a full time RVer. So much good info on this website. I don't know how I'll get through it all, but I'm sure that even if I read just a fraction of it, I'll be so much more educated on this.
