New Member - Virginia

Hello:

Last month I acquired a Chinook Concourse and after lurking on a few rv sites, decided to start joining up 'cause I'll have a bunch of questions. I'm new to rv'ing and will travel with my 2 dogs when I'm able.

Right now I'm busy updating/replacing things that have been neglected by the previous owner and fortunately, it's been easy stuff and fun (except for the spending money part). Did a shake-down overnight trip locally which helped me ID some stuff I need to carry or brought attention to. Looking forward to being a part of this community.

My plans at some point is to add solar and replace the carpeting with laminate, water-proof flooring. Ultimately, end with a repaint because the clearcoat is flaking all over.

Oh yes, I will be reading it! I did one shake-down trip at a local campground and took them. They were so stressed out at being out of their element that they whined constantly and wouldn't go to the bathroom for 15hrs. I guess it's better than them going in the MH...
