Don't be in a hurry. Don't get distracted by neighbors asking questions. Prepare a check list of things you think you will need. You can add or delete items on the checklist as you think of them or want to remove them.

Prior to driving off on the day of your trip, and every day before driving off, check your tire pressures. If they need air, add it. IF they are overfilled, let a little out, but always start the day with the correct air pressure in your tires.

You will most likely forget something like the toothbrush, but many items can be purchased at your destination. Then you will have one for the house and the trailer. No need to pack it the next time.

You can search on RV Checklist and get some ideas of what others have taken with them - and then some.

If you are like my DW, don't forget the 10 pairs of shoes!!

Where do you plan on going on this trip? (Don't say Galveston.....)

Let me suggest some short trips to exotic places like the State Parks in Arkansas.
We Arkansans do speak Texan! Also, for all those things you left behind, we conveniently place a Wal-Mart near by.

Dog gone! I forgot about that.

Every state has been so friendly providing those Wally-World shopping experiences.

Yes but hopeful they will stay "detained" at least as long as we are there!

Oh my gosh! Joining the Texas Boomers is a really tough thing to do. They have so many ru......... Wait, that's not them.

To join the Texas Boomers just show up at a rally. Once you have shown your Texas faces you are members. No dues.

You can go to the Texas Boomers web site for lots of good information.

Hello from Henderson Tx, East Texas, the center of TX the heart and soul...
HA HA HA!!!

How far from home are you going?
Sounds silly but some folks actually try doing all there cooking and staying a night or 2 in there drive way. Also when you get to the park get a note pad and every time you think darn it we forgot that honey, there's the list.
Let me say half the fun is just doing it and doing it often. There list ot the forums and online, but every ones need is different.
Happy trails bush family and most of all have A LOT of FUN!! It's not mandatory, but recommended..

We've been full timing since 11/20/12 sold Sticks and brick that day.
We really love it..
