New memner
Hello everyone!
My name is Tom. I joined this group because I plan to become a full time RV’er. I’m hoping to buy a used Class-A motor home in the next 4, 5 months, and sell my home by end of this year. If all goes well, I will be able to use my home equity to pay off the motor home and still have plenty left over for emergencies and other expenses.
This will not be my first time RV’ing. I owned a 26’ ‘88 American Eagle Class C many years ago. I sold it probably about 18 years ago. Now I want to go into it full time. I’m 70 years old, single, with three cats, ready to spend the rest of my life seeing what the rest of this beautiful country looks like. With prices being what they are today, seems to be the best time to make that move.
I’m in the process of trading my 2019 Hyundai Kona Ultimate on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with only 14,000 miles. My guess is that the low miles on the Jeep is due to being used as a “toad”, which is exactly what I want it for because it’s one of the smaller vehicles that can be flat towed. Been meaning to get rid of the Kona anyway because it has a lot of miles on but still a good trade value.
So here I am!
Tom
