New Newmar 2003 Scottsdale Owner
We have been workamping and fulltime RVing for 4 years. We currently travel to RV parks and sell advertising to create a free sitemap/brochure for the parks. We just traded our 30 foot travel trailer for a 2003 Newmar 38ft Scottsdale. It is in great shape with just a few flaws, the biggest of which is a few spots on the grill, fenders and compartment lids where the gel coat or clear coat has bubbled and peeling. I have seen this as a common problem. Looking for information on other problems to expect and tips on upgrading and remodels. It is all original with the old TV's and original couch and recliner. Hoping to meet other owners and enjoy the friendship of the forum.

Welcome, new myself. i have an 03 dutch star that i took the plastic coating off of the front this summer. it was a job! Not sure of the hours i put in. (a bunch) But, it was worth it and i would do it again. Biggest issue i had was some of the paint came off with the tape (plastic). some of the lighter color...not sure if the color had anything to do with it pulling off, but the darker burgundy had no issues. $600.00 to have it painted. i would recommend to get the raised replacement decal form Newman. Looks great!
