New Newmar Ventana owner

Hi! I have a 2006 Newmar Ventana DP. I am in the process of modifying it to facilitate living in it full time. I have successfully removed the dinette area and am in the process of removing the couch. There are 5 large bolts sticking up from the floor where the couch used to be. I have no idea what their purpose is (two were used to anchor the couch)and would like to remove them. Any information or guidance about their removal (or the necessity for leaving them) would be greatly appreciated. I am also in the process of altering the center front "module" that housed the TV. It is a head banger. I want to remove about 4" from the frame/sides so it is almost flush with the two side cabinets. It looks like if I remove the two metal plates, I should be able to have someone use a skil-saw and cut it down. Again, any guidance, information and/or how-tos will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Hope the mods go well. I suspect the extra bolts were to anchor seat belts!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I would agree, welcome to the forum, here is a link for other operations of your coach items.
Good luck with the redo and safe travels when you do.
