New Old Gal ~

Hi All -- I recently lucked out in getting a 'used' 2016 Thor Gemini. I knew I wanted a used RV, but knowing little about motors, and nothing about RVs was concerned with what I might encounter. I recently took it out for its inaugural spin on a day trip and was pleased with the way it handled. So far, so good!

I tent camped when I was younger and always enjoyed it, but now, at 71, the ground is just too hard. But, I'm not a novice at camping and am looking forward to doing it again. And, seeing how much I remember...

I've always wanted to drive across the USA and explore areas in the States and Canada I haven't been. My first actual trip is going to be to South Carolina to see the eclipse. I'll be accompanied by my black shepherd/black lab and friends who will be tent camping on the same site. I'm pretty sure Billy Joe won't be much help, but am grateful for the moral--and maybe actual--support from my friends.

Going forth anxiously, remembering: "Stretch, dream, take a risk, grow. As long as you're drawing breath, it's not too late"
