New owner from AZ
Hello.
I just bought my first rv, a 2011 fleetwood terra 34.
Gas ford v10. My wife and I plan to vacation across the country with our three kids whenever possible and rent it out during the school year.
Ive been a mechanic, a drafter, and a fabricator, and have quite a bit of experience with rvs.
Can't wait to get out on the open road again.

Making memories with the kids ---- that will be priceless
Check out/Deep Research that 'renting out' concept
Insurance coverage, background checks, retrieval when breaks down, wear/tear, damages etc
Might be 'priceless' in the sense of Money out of Pocket.

I Agree with Old Biscuit, Do the research on renting out your RV. There are a lot of horror stories associated with doing this. If you do a search using the tab at the top of the page you will find several articles relating to RV rentals.

I will read up on the stories of renting and what to try and avoid. I think as long as I set the expectation that problems can always happen, and cover my bases with insurance as best as possible it will work. Everything in life comes with some amount of risk...
We have a trip planned to Missouri / Arkansas this summer so getting it ready for that.
