New peeps from upstate NY...

Hi All,
We're new to the RV world...actually picking up our new Keystone Cougar 19RBE next weekend and taking it out for a break-in overnighter. Can't wait! We decided to start small and work our way up to hopefully a nice 5th wheel when we're ready.
We are within about 10 years of retirement and figured that we'd get our feet wet and start traveling with an RV to see if this is the life we want after we're finally done working. I have friends who are full timers and they love it. We love to travel...and there is so much to see in this great continent of ours why not do it in style on our own terms in our own "mobile" home!
Looking forward to reading and learning all there is to know. Any tips or pointers or advice is welcome!

Peace,
Debbie

Welcome to the Forum and hope you have many wonderful adventures. We are also originally from Upstate NY (Syracuse) but relocated down to Florida 15 years ago. We just started fulltiming and will be leaving for Syracuse next week. Plan to stay next to our kid's home and take short trips and then back down to Florida for the winter.

Anyway, best of luck.

Happy RV'ing
