New R pod!

I know absolutely nothing about my Rpod and I just got a 2017 model 179. for 7 years my husband and I have done the occasional weekend camping in a 1983 Burro- pretty much just a bed with a roof- one step above a tent. Now I have a half inch thick book to read on how to run the Rpod's water, toilet system, battery, water heater, microwave, refrigerator, stove, electrical panel, radio, TV! slide out!!! I am overwhelmed!
but I am learning fast and its a good thing I am handy with tools, my first obstacle was getting into the driveway backing up A SLOPE, so much so that I had to take off the back stabilizer jacks to keep the driveway from taking them off for me. I am very happy to be part of a forum of people who might be able to answer my many questions, you tube is very helpful but doesn't answer it all. so thanks for any input you all have ahead of time. first delima they dont make slideout awnings for my size camper... hummm maybe I could make one? I am handy with a sewing machine.

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

When you take it out to a campground ask your neighbors for their opinions. You'll find that they are more than willing to help. You can also ask questions and someone in here will get to you.

Happy Trails!!!

Welcome and good luck on the new adventure. The good thing is the learning curve though may be steep is usually of short duration.
