New RV family from Wisconsin

Hello everyone,

Found this site and it has been a great help and looks like a great group of people.

We have been camping for many years ( wife, son and daughter) and love to fish, hike and spend time in the outdoors. My son was in Scouts for many years and made Eagle several years ago. I can't tell you how many times we camped in the rain during our outings

So back in 2010 we rented a Class A 34 foot RV and our family and a brother in-laws did a two week trip to Yellowstone. Best trip we ever took. I think that is what got us thinking about purchasing an RV. We came across a nice couple that had a very well maintained 2004 Winnie Sightseer and we bought it.

Overall we are very happy with the unit. We needed tires and a side actuator failed shortly after purchase but since the unit is 9 years old not unexpected.

So just wanted to say hi and thank you for all the great comments and information that has really helped us learn the ins and outs of our unit and RVing in general.

-Russ

Welcome from a couple of recent Wisconsin tax refugees. There's a lot of great places in Wisconsin to use that motorhome. May you enjoy many happy (s)miles.
