New RV owner
Hey guys,
Just bought my first motorhome. Its a 2000 Newmar Dutch Star. We're racers and we are planning to use it at the race track primarily. Lots of questions and things to learn about on this rig, already found lots of good info browsing the site. Anyway, just saying Hi!

Welcome and enjoy. Be sure to give us specific information when asking for help. Make, model, year, any additional help makes answers better.

Welcome. We are not racers but we do a lot of NASCAR dry camping.

Hey DragRacer68, welcome. I too bought my unit to race out of, although I am on the off road (moto side), it has worked out super for me so far. I learned a lot in a short time from the folks here, am in the midst of making a bunch of changes in mine as in stock form/trim it is not very well suited to the filth and grunge found at the typical MX track. Again welcome, and enjoy.

I hear ya. I like having carpet in it but the wife is finding out quickly that the carpets are hard to keep clean with people coming in / out all the time. We bought some rugs and plastic runners to help and we'll just have it steam cleaned in the off season.
