We did the same thing about 3 years ago and we have been enjoying ourselves every since with the help of this WEB site. We are not full timers but we do travel 8+months a year. My DW retired 3 years ago and I went into partial retirement this February and consult from the road.
Life is good!

Welcome! I'm pretty new here, too. Don't be intimidated. There is a learning curve, especially if you're new to camping, but with all the helpful people here, and a little common sense, you'll be fine. I have learned a lot just by reading through the posts here.
We are still working, so we just get out on a weekend here and there. Every time we go, there are new things to learn, new ideas gleaned from other campers, and a new shopping list for when we get back!
