Hello!
My husband Stan & I purchased a new Thor Hurricane this past May. I'm a bit behind in terms to saying hello and introducing ourselves to the forum. I've been doing a lot of lurking and reading, and have found lots of helpful tips and information here!
Due to a number of factors we've spent only one night out in the new RV. We hope to change that during the coming months. We want to start off closer to home, and now that the weather is cooling off and the summer thunder storms are lessening, it's getting to be a good time to think of venturing out.
We have a lot to learn, but are excited at the prospect. We are looking for a good little vehicle that will become our dinghy. Our daily drivers are just too big (my opinion) to be towing all over the place. We hope to find a good used small car with a stick shift...bit of a challenge, but we'll keep looking. We do have a dolly, but are hoping to find a car that we can flat tow.
We live southeastern Arizona, in the beautiful high desert at the foot of the Huachuca Mountains in Cochise County. We're retired and are classic car hobbyists. We might even decide one day to tow one our old cars to a car show - we have a flatbed car trailer, too!
We look forward to being a part of this forum, and to many years of enjoying our motorhome!
Eileen
