New RV owner in Texas

I am Wesley, my wife and I just purchased our first motorhome. A 2000 Fleetwood Flair 25Y. As my luck would have it I didn't even make it home before the fuel pump said "no more". $700 later I have it home where it has been sitting for a few weeks as life got in the way. We are into this thing right for the money and since I am a professional mechanic with a well equipped shop on my farm I should be able to get this thing spruced up without much drama. Our primary goal is to be able to tow our race car and be able to attend tracks further away from home, possibly attend a multi day event or two a year. It will also come in handy for vacations and visiting family.

Hi Wesley! Welcome to IRV2! We’re sure glad you joined the gang here!

Congrats on the new rig! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
