New RV'er from Kentucky

Hi all, Mike here.
I purchased a 2001 Damon Daybreak 33 ft class A with a W20 chassis in August.
My wife (66) and I (72) have always talked about traveling the US and we finally pulled the trigger.
We made a couple of shake down trips less than 300 miles from home and think we are ready to hit the road.
W plan on leaving after Christmas and heading south to Grand Isle LA. for our first stop and then travel west following the border with several stops in Texas with maybe a longer stop in Grand Bend.
We are hoping that we can go to the west coast before we run out of money had have to come home.
We want to do as much dry camping as we can to save money on RV parks.
We are rather sure baring really bad luck that we can be gone at least two months. Wish us luck.

Welcome to IRV2. State and federal parks are pretty cheap.
