New RVer from WI

Hello all,

Our family purchased a Fleetwood Tioga 21.5 a few months ago. Unfortunately being new to RVs I did not know to look for the tell tale signs of water damage. After digging into some of the overhead can area I decided that it should be rebuilt before taking it on any trips. So out came the screwdrivers, pry bars, hammers, scrapers and grinders. I rebuilt it myself after reading many posts and watching YouTube videos. We couldn't be more satisfied with the end result. We still have a couple areas to work on, but should be able to drive it without concern now. It sits on an e350 chassis, with the Ford 460 motor. Any preventative maintenance tips would be greatly appreciated. We've taken it on a couple drives but have yet to sleep in it overnight as we are trying to educate ourselves on the in's and out's of it first. We're hoping to make many memories with our children with this new addition.

The best part of any problem is when it is resolved, that's for sure!

Congrats on the new rig! Many happy miles and memories to you and your family!
