New RV'er in So. Oregon
I've been posting a bit here and there and just realized I've never really introduced myself. I found this forum as I was looking for some answers on a shower drainage issue we were having when we bought our travel trailer. and since then we've gone camping twice, I've written up a couple campground reviews and then as I was perusing the different forums here, I see an Introduction area! oops!
Anyways, we recently bought a 2008 Mallard Sport 18 ft TT. We've had it about a month now and just returned from our 2nd camping trip. First time was just a local getaway along the Rogue River in So. Oregon. And today we returned from camping in the Redwoods, near Crescent City, CA, which is about a 90 minute drive for us.
Our 13 yr old son is LOVING camping and we also have two black labs that are proving to be great travelers and campers. I'm happy to have found this forum and the great wealth of knowledge here!

Welcome, you live near a great white water rafting river. One of my favorite locations in Oregon, next to Chiloquin.

Thanks for introducing yourselves. Glad to hear you are doing this while your son is young. There is a lot of beautiful country for him (and all of us) to enjoy. Teach him appreciation early! smile
May the Lord bless your travels.
