NEW S.C. "Class A" 40ft. 02' CC/National Islander

Hello everyone,
I've been a member here since the fall.

I had hoped to find a class A "Toy-Hauler" but caved into the Diesel pusher.

My final choice was a 40ft. 02' National Islander 9401 and it's a local 48K mile pristine example. I've had it here at the house for 2+ weeks. I am an active HAM radio operator, 45 year Motorcyclist and lover of all the outdoors. (birds especially)
I purchased a nice 24ft. enclosed trailer for my tools and Bike, maybe a small car soon. I've been working on both to prepare for a short "VIRGIN" road trip. From Greenville/Spartanburg SC to Atlanta, Ga. to the Fl. border on I-75 and back up I-95 thru Charleston SC for my baby's graduation from the College of Charleston on the 16th of this month. It's been a whirlwind last 2 weeks. I'm excited to make the "full-time" move to coach-life.
House is being sold-out and I hope to be east coast mountains thru the summer. Then San Diego in the late summer or fall to see my older daughter. Best wishes and hope to meet you on the road!

Awesome! Congrats! Nice rig! We are almost neighbors.

I am also a avid motorcyclist, new bikes, vintage and antique.

We get our new to us rig next Thursday. Have simular plans, enclosed trailer we already own.

Good stuff, enjoy!

Congrats on your new life and your coach. We are itching to make the transition ourselves. Almost there.

Good luck, safe travels, we'll be looking for ya.

My BACK is broken... Moving the FEW important

Things into the coach...

I'm so surprised by the amount of "DEBRIS" we collect over 5 decades of house life. I've chosen my favorite 3 things from each room based on "likely use" in the future, Its dumbfounding. The leftovers!

I see notes from several of you I've been reading from.. and THANKS!

I need advice on a stereo system for the coach. My in-dash unit is JUNK. Speakers are as well.
I have some "top-end home A/V audio" systems if they could work.. But I want to listen to music when I drive.. GOOD quality sound...
I don't think my 120volt home system is the 12 volt audio system I seek??
Sincerely,
Ed
